Forum for Wildlife & Environment Preserve (FOWEP) is one of the leading NGOs of Kavre district, Nepal. It is a non-governmental, non-profit making and non-political organization established to facilitate integrated development to address the complex poverty and increase the access of the prop poor to the natural resources and its effective management. FOWEP was established in 1995 (10 Jan 1995) to develop a platform for sharing innovative ideas and experiences in various disciplines like human rights, child rights, good governance, and community based infrastructure to contribute for the sustainable management of the resources. Legally, FOWEP was registered in the District Administration office, Kavre under the Association Regulations Act, 2034. In the present, FOWEP has extended its working areas through development projects to Okhaldhunga and Bajura district in Far- west.
